Coastal Holiday Home

This holiday let needed a bedroom refresh, on a budget. Located not far from the North Coast of Cornwall, it needed to represent the client’s love of the coastline.

We were conscious of our client’s brief to not make this scheme ‘typically coastal’, opting for subtle nods to the landscape in abstract artwork and organic patterns. This room used to be cold and uninviting, and so by adding golden, sandy tones and a splash of maroon for contrast, the result is an inviting retreat. The en-suite had a lighter touch but features similar warmth and playful pattern in the roman blind, made by a local curtain maker.

Inviting Bed layered with subtly patterned textiles.
Oak peg hooks with rattan hangbag hanging and trailing faux plant.
Guest Bedroom on the North Cornwall Coastline
Coastal Cornish Bedroom with abstract seascape artwork and layered, patterned cushions.
Statement Roman Blind with classic tongue and groove panelling in this Cornish En-Suite.
We are over the moon with our new guest bedroom, it has the cosy, welcoming feel we wanted. It has given our holiday let a new lease of life, and now we can’t wait to get started on the other rooms!
